Saleslink, the retail sales management and merchandising group who is behind some of Australia’s most famous brands has sold a 40% stake to a consortium of investors including Gerry Harvey, John Singleton and MH Carnegie, a Sydney based private equity firm founded by Mark Carnegie. These investors provide SalesLink with access to capital to fund its strategic investments in Australasian owned FMCG businesses.

Saleslink is an outsourced sales, merchandising and product development team that has a unique understanding of the Australian retail climate and consumers. Saleslink is the leader in Retail Sales Management and conducts national account management, field merchandising and order management for supermarkets, Pharmacy, Hardware, Auto and department stores.

Mark Hardgrave from M&A Partners commented:
Saleslink’s expertise is evident in the success of their brand portfolio and their growth. The partnership with MH Carnegie is an exciting development for Saleslink and should lead to greater opportunities for both parties in the Australian FMCG sector.

Saleslink’s first investment post M.H.Carnegies involvement has been Modern Baking Company, one of Australia’s largest biscuit manufacturers and owner of iconic Australian brands including Unibic ANZACs.

M&A Partners acted as advisors to Saleslink in the transaction.
