M&A Partners advises on the sale of Kadac Pty Ltd

M&A Partners are pleased to announce that Kadac Pty Ltd (“Kadac or the Company’)" has been sold to New Development Corporation Pty Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of a diversified consumer goods organization.

Kadac is Australia’s largest specialised distributor of health, nutritional and wellbeing products to specialty health food stores, independent grocery stores and major supermarkets. New Development Co, with global expertise in the areas of product sourcing, logistics, and distribution, will be able to forge new opportunities for Kadac’s suppliers and brand partners in the important Asian markets.

In November 2016, the Kadac board appointed M&A Partners, a Melbourne based corporate advisory firm, to undertake a share sale and capital raising process to identify a new cornerstone partner for Kadac that could not only bring capital to expand the business but generate export opportunities for its suppliers in China and throughout Asian markets.

Antony Lynch from M&A Partners commented: “There was considerable interest in the Kadac business from investors and trade buyers and the board determined that New Development Co offered a compelling proposition for the business and its key stakeholders." The core values of Kadac - identifying and distributing the highest quality organic and health & wellness products from Australia and throughout the world, - remains the key focus of the company.
