M&A Partners Announces Successful Sale of Datacom Business Services to Tambla

M&A Partners is pleased to announce that we have successfully assisted Datacom in the sale of its Datacom Business Services (DBS) division to Tambla, the Australian innovative workforce management solution provider.

M&A Partners was appointed as advisor to Datacom in October 2019 to identify a strategic acquirer for its DBS division, and after an extensive sales process, Tambla was selected as the successful bidder, having acquired DBS’ associated intellectual property and hiring the entirety of the DBS team.

DBS had predominantly operated as a stand-alone entity to the Datacom Group, providing specialist SAP based solutions focusing on Payroll and Human Capital Management to large organisations across Australia.

Tambla is an enterprise human resources (HR) software company that is well-recognised for its successful track record and industry experience in providing workforce management solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

This new partnership will provide greater scale and capability to the products and services offered to valued customers and business partners, with Bob Peebles, Managing Director of Strategy at Datacom Australia explaining that “this is an opportunity for Tambla to grow and develop this part of its business and take the DBS product to the next level”.
