M&A Partners advises BottleCycler minority shareholders on sale of remaining shares to TOMRA

M&A Partners is pleased to announce its role as advisor to the minority shareholders of BottleCycler in the sale of their remaining 40% stake to TOMRA, the global leader in resource management and recycling technology.
BottleCycler, Australia’s market leader in on-site glass bottle crushing and closed-loop recycling solutions for the hospitality sector, has successfully enabled thousands of venues to manage glass efficiently and promote a circular economy through innovative technology. Following TOMRA's initial majority investment, this latest transaction delivers complete TOMRA ownership of BottleCycler and further enhances its capacity to provide smart, sustainable glass recycling solutions.
Commenting on the transaction, Antony Lynch, Managing Director of M&A Partners, said:
“This transaction represents a successful exit for BottleCycler’s minority shareholders while consolidating TOMRA’s strategic leadership in glass recycling.”
TOMRA Systems ASA is a publicly listed Norwegian multinational corporation (OSE: TOM) that provides sensor-based solutions for optimal resource productivity, enabling the circular economy through advanced collection and sorting systems. TOMRA’s mission is to transform the way the world obtains, uses, and reuses resources to enable a "world without waste". TOMRA is leading the way in Australia in providing Reverse Vending Machines for recycling that use their proprietary scanning technology.
The shareholders of BottleCycler were advised by Antony Lynch and Andrew Balfe at M&A Partners.
