M&A Partners advises Metal Manufactures on the acquisition of Convic Australia

M&A Partners was pleased to have acted for Metal Manufactures (MM) on the acquisition of Convic Australia, a family-owned business in Thomastown, which specializes in the supply of specialised PVC and accessory products into the electrical, communications and civil industries in Victoria. The MM Infrastructure group already successfully services this market in NSW through Underground Civil Supplies and already uses Convic as a supplier of their conduit to their MM Electrical division.

Convic services an industrial customer base across all sectors of civil works and construction projects. The diversified customer mix is equally spread across three broad sectors –  rail &roads; electrical & telecommunications; and new land subdivisions. The product range includes Underground Civil Supplies, predominately conduit, bends, pits and accessories, stormwater and PVC pressure pipe. Most of their product is sourced from Australian manufacturers.
